Extraocular Vision, also called MindSight, is explored through nearby visual tasks while wearing an opaque blindfold. Activities can include recognising colours and symbols, reading text, identifying objects and navigating a space with appropriate guidance. It differs from remote viewing, which concerns a concealed or distant target rather than the immediate surroundings.

IN PRACTICE

What does practice involve?

01

Colours and symbols

Participants work with coloured sheets and simple forms, with guidance and feedback from a partner.

02

A carefully fitted mask

The fit and position of the mask matter. A clear account of the setup helps everyone understand what happened during an exercise.

03

Practice with a partner

A partner presents material, listens and records responses. Activities are adapted to the person and setting.
