THE INSTITUTE

A humanity awakened
to its extraordinary capacities.

Our work begins with practical training. Our purpose is to help people discover more of what they can perceive, create and share.

WHY SENSUS EXISTS

Advance the frontier
of human possibility.

Our mission is to discover, develop, demonstrate and share extraordinary human capacities.

Sensus brings independent trainers, participants and useful learning into a growing international network. It gives this work a public home and helps it continue beyond any one person, trainer or school.

WHAT THE INSTITUTE CONTRIBUTES

Make the work possible.
Help it travel further.

01

Connect people

Help people find trainings, meet independent trainers and discover where exploration is happening.

02

Support good practice

Maintain shared commitments and clear responsibilities while making room for different teaching approaches.

03

Share what is learned

Encourage useful exchange, acknowledge contributions and make learning available to the next person.

THE SENSUS PRECEPTS

What guides us.

01

Seek Truth

Go beyond belief, authority and wishful thinking. Meet experience honestly, distinguish what is known from what is believed, and remain willing to be changed by what is discovered.

02

Explore Courageously

Enter the unknown with curiosity, discipline and the courage to attempt what others consider impossible.

03

Embody the Work

Let what you practise transform how you live, relate, create and lead.

04

Advance Together

Share what you discover, honour those who contributed and help others go further than any one person could alone.

05

Serve the Whole

Develop human potential in ways that expand freedom, dignity, consciousness, connection and possibility for all.

ORIGINS & PEOPLE

Built on training.
Growing through people.

Sensus grew from Extra-Ordinaries and the Sensus trainings. Alexander’s work helped establish the starting point; the Institute is being shaped to support other trainers, practitioners and contributors.

People bring different backgrounds and methods. What connects them is a willingness to explore, take responsibility for the work and share what helps others.

Independent trainers.
Shared responsibility.

Each training names its teaching team and Organiser. Independent Trainers lead the learning; the Organiser handles registration, fees and practical arrangements. Sensus supports the network through recognition, shared commitments and the exchange of learning.
